This post comes a little late, as we did this trip last year! The BF & I did a 3 night stay in Paris, staying at the lovely Max Hotel, in the 14th arrondissement.
We managed to cover plenty of ground while we were there, visiting the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe and the Louvre.
We were quite fortunate during the morning we planned to visit the Arc de Triomphe. We managed to be on the section of footpath literally across the road from the Arc, when French Police began to close the roads off, and prevent any pedestrians from crossing the road.
We then managed to witness the visit of the President of Mali, and enjoy the sights of the French police out-riders & horses.
Overall, we had a fantastic time in Paris, particularly the BF, as this was his first time there, and these are some of the pictures we managed to take while there.
Unlike most people, all I want to see in Paris is Champs Elysees and the Arc de Triomphe :)
